ARTS & COMMUNITY PLANNING:
HOW THE ARTS CAN PLAY A FULLER ROLE IN GLASGOW BOOKLET.
This booklet is a summary of discussions which took place as part of a one-day event for key arts and community planning partners in December 2008. It reflects on successes and areas for development, explores partner expectations, offers insight into work within two areas of the city and gives examples of creative approaches. It is intended to help support and carry forward dialogue.
Since the event many of the discussions have moved on. The Culture and Sport Glasgow Arts Development team have continued to build positive relationships with Community Planning around the vibrancy theme and to develop projects in partnership with local communities, particularly through the local area based Arts Officers. At city-wide level there are plans to explore and develop support around arts and single outcome agreements in Glasgow.
A pdf version will be available online shortly.
