GLASGOW AMERICANA

This years Glasgow Americana Festival, promoted by the respected Fallen Angels Club, was organised in a very short time to take up where the Big, Big Country Festival, the brainchild of the late Billy Kelly of Soundsfine, left off.  The weekend featured Nashville based Mary Gauthier, Pennsylvania-raised Robbie Fulks and Vancouver resident Oh Susanna.  Next years Glasgow Americana Festival hopes to continue on after a successful first year and will take place in the city of Glasgow between 24th - 31st May 2008 at various venues.
