As well as the current resources available in Community Libraries and The Mitchell, you can use library materials that have been collected over many years.

 

Most of these collections are held in The Mitchell where you can use them for study, research or general interest.  You may also borrow selected material from The Mitchell.

You can use the collections in The Mitchell whether you live in Glasgow or not; if you don't have a library card, then you may register on arrival.

Glasgow Libraries Stock Policy sets out the criteria and guiding principles for the acquisition, maintenance and development of all stock citywide.
