Greater Glasgow has 44,000 golf club members, which is the highest golf club membership in Scotland.

Within a 10 mile zone of Glasgow, there are currently:

  • 66 members clubs
  • 13 municipal courses
  • 4 courses operated by commercial companies.

A successful pilot has recently been completed with the Clubgolf programme, and this is currently being developed throughout the city.

Cuture and Sport Glasgow delivers a range of services including:

  • Come and try sessions
  • Regular coaching programme (5-8 year olds and 8-15 year olds)
  • Saturday programme throughout the year
  • Advanced technical coaching
  • Adult 1:1 coaching
  • Summer junior golf camp
