Castlemilk Sports Centre houses an 8-lane indoor bowling arena - added to the centre in 2000.

This is the only Indoor Bowling Club in Glasgow that caters for members and non-members within its programme. This facility has already become renowned throughout the country having hosted the Mens and Ladies Scottish Singles Finals and British Isles Championship.


Castlemilk Indoor Bowling Club are looking for new members, both male and female rs to help boost the club's ability to participate in the Scottish Bowling Leagues. The club also run their own indoor leagues which runs on the following days and times.


  • Monday 2.00pm to 4.00pm
  • Wednesday 12 Noon to 4.00pm
  • Friday 12 Noon to 2.00pm
  • Sunday 2.00pm to 4.00pm

Only members can participate in the above leagues but the committee would be pleased to organize evening leagues on a Monday, Thursday, and Friday should there be a demand for them.


Current Membership Prices (per year)

  • Glasgow Resident Adult £31.50 Juvenile £16.50
  • Non Glasgow Resident Adult £31.50 Juvenile £16.50
  • Passport Membership Adult £16.50 Juvenile

Charges per game

  • Adult Member £1.60
  • Adult Passport Member £0.90
  • Adult Non-Member £2.30
  • Adult Passport or 60+ Non-Member £1.15
  • Junior Member (under 18) £0.90
  • Junior Passport Member £0.90

Casual Bowling

Disc games (casual games) are held on Monday 10.00am to 12.00 noon and all are welcome.


Castlemilk Indoor Bowling Club Junior Bowling Section

The Junior section is run by Alex McFarlane who gives tuition on Sundays 12.00 Noon until 2.00pm. Should you wish to join the Junior Bowling section please come along on a Sunday at 12.00 Noon.


The cost of playing with the junior section is £0.50 per session and a junior is termed as a player under the age of 18 years of age. Shoes and bowls will be provided for those who come along to the junior bowling section classes.
