Supporting Literacies
Community Learning is at the forefront of developing Glasgow as a vibrant city of confident, literate and numerate communities.
We want to make learning fun and attractive - and to as many people as possible.
We provide city-wide learning opportunities in a range of locations and all our activities are aimed at developing learners as:
- individuals
- family members
- effective contributors in communities
- marketable and successful employees
We work closely with all learners in the development of skills which will help them play a full and active part in a modern environment and economy.
We do this by using proven learning approaches along with new interactive methods which make full use of all learning opportunities.
Learners will receive individual and professional support to develop a learning plan that suits them.
In this section you can find out how you, your friends, your family or your workmates can improve their literacy skills and develop confidence in:
- reading
- writing

- grammar
