Explore the vast resources of Glasgow's libraries, from the latest bestsellers and movies to the unique collections of The Mitchell.

The online catalogue lists community library stock and a substantial part of The Mitchell's collections.  If you have a Borrower number and PIN you can reserve titles that are available for loan. You can also  renew your loans and see your borrower details.

You can search the catalogue not only for a particular author or title, but also by subject and by format, such as spoken word or DVD.

If you require any help with searching, the library staff will be happy to help.

Glasgow Libraries Stock Policy

Glasgow Libraries core activity is the provision and conservation of an appropriate and relevant stock. The Glasgow Libraries Stock Policy document (see below) sets out the criteria and guiding principles for the acquisition, maintenance and development of all stock citywide.

The Stock Policy document is in portable document format (PDF) and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.  This reader can be freely downloaded from the Adobe web site.
