We are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to all our customers.

Most community libraries are accessible to wheelchair users or people with mobility issues.

Services for visually impaired people

Community libraries have books in large print, on tape and CD. These are also available in community languages from selected libraries. Blind and partially sighted people may borrow and reserve these items free of charge.

There is a specialist resource unit within the Mitchell.
