One of Glasgow’s most iconic buildings, the Mitchell is Europe's largest reference library which can offer a range of interesting venue hire spaces

The Mitchell complex is housed within a magnificent listed exterior. Inside, there is a spacious glass-enclosed foyer with café and bar facilities, flanked by a theatre, a large multi-purpose hall and a range of meeting rooms providing a comprehensive choice of flexible facilities within a single building.

The Mitchell can be used by private and corporate clients as a fascinating venue in a prime, central location for conferences, banquets, private dinners and business meetings in the daytime or evening.

Venue Spaces for Hire
	The Main Hall on the ground floor is suitable for dinner parties, dinner dances, exhibitions, ceremonies and receptions for up to 300 guests. The Main Hall can offer guests the opportunity to admire stunning architecture and many traditional features. It is also regularly used as a venue for exhibitions, book, antique and stamp fairs.
	The Conference Centre provides a 400-seater auditorium and can be combined with three adjacent breakout spaces (see Moir/Dyer/Simpson Rooms) to create a dynamic and compact conference venue. The Conference Centre is also a popular choice for product launches and larger business meetings.
	The Moir/Dyer/Simpson Rooms offer three, linked meeting, breakout or workshop areas and are often used in conjunction with the Conference Centre. They can also be hired individually for smaller meetings of between 25 and around 100 people.
	The Blythswood, Fairfield, Jeffrey, Burns and Stirling Rooms each offer a more traditional setting and are suitable for smaller board meetings, presentations and talks for between 10 and 100 people.
