In partnership with Netball Scotland, Glasgow Netball Association and the University of Glasgow, Glasgow City Council is investing in the future stars of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, with the creation of a Glasgow based team that will compete in the UK’s Elite Netball League. It is envisaged that the Super League team will mostly comprise of current, former and future members of the Scottish National Squad. The creation of the Glasgow Franchise Team will directly support Netball Scotland’s progress towards the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. Culture and Sport Glasgow will lead on the delivery of the project and is looking for a Project Officer who will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of the Franchise programme.
